Why have a website dedicated to FIAT Complaint issues?
Well I have a 2006 FIAT Punto 1.3 JTD 16V which has had a terrible history, from the date it was bought brand new from a FIAT dealership on 16 August 2006.
My first complaint against FIAT, and the Arnold Chatz dealership I purchased the car from popped up on the way home. The airconditioner did not work when I switched it on! No functioning in a brand new car! (Anyway that was relatively quickly fixed after 7 attempts and 6 weeks.)

Just look at the damage the dealer caused at the last warranty repair. Is that acceptable damage for you? Would you service your car at Arnold Chatz Hyde Park?

Some things that FIAT dealerships do is ridiculous. The FIAT dealer twice adjusted the cables to the gearbox to fix the problem that I had complained to them about, that 3rd and 4th gear had rapidly deteriorated in function. The gears were snagging, like the first time they had to overhaul the gearbox at 11 thousand kilometers when it first packed up. Upon being unsuccessful in fixing the problem, they then issue a report saying that the gearbox is "commercially acceptable". Check it out! FIAT Technical Report
Now my question is this. If there was no problem in the first place, why adjust the cables to fix it? Sorry FIAT, you score a complaint for adjusting the cables, thereby acknowledging that there was a problem, making the problem worse, and then when you discovered it was not the cables or the links or the gearlever, you suddenly give the box a clean bill of health.
Now as per the FIAT South Africa Technical division there is no issue with my interior fan. I have published the video on YouTube so that Arnold Chatz Hyde Park and Fiat South Africa can see that there is really something to complain about. (YouTube just makes viewing the Fiat Complaints easier and more accessible to Fiat in Turin.)
